Note from the Pastor

Chronicles 20:12-13 O our God, will You not judge them? For we have no power against this great multitude that is coming against us; nor do we know what to do, but our eyes are upon You.”   Now all Judah, with their little ones, their wives, and their children, stood before the Lord.”

In this passage of scripture King Jehosophat of Judah had just be given the news that a great army of Moah (trouble) was coming against Judah. King Jehosophat immediately calls his nation to fasting and prayer. (not panic) Notice all these families are standing together before God. Isn’t that beautiful?

As a pastor I am calling our church family at Living Word Fellowship to prayer and fasting. I believe God is working even now in our country and around the world to bring people to their knees and see that without him they have no real security. Psalm 46:1 “God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble.”

I am asking as your pastor and along with our church staff that you pray and fast.

In Isaiah 35:4 we read, “say to them who are fearful of heart be strong fear not”.

In the grip of His hand,

Pastor Warren G. Hood
